Late Shri. Sagarmalji Chopra (1914 – 1970), the founder of the group and a very well known person in umbrella industry was awarded the special status as the “Man of the Century” (in umbrella industry) by All India Umbrella Federation (AIUF) in year 2000 for his contribution and outstanding performance in the umbrella industry. He established his first umbrella and umbrella component manufacturing unit in 1947 in Falna (Rajasthan). Within a decade he established many other ancillary and backward integrated units. The machines were imported from France, which helped achieve optimal product quality cost effectively. Today, we continue with same spirit as that of our founder Shri. Sagarmalji Chopra. And by drawing inspiration from his deeds, continue to optimize our manufacturing and service operations. We modernized our manufacturing operations during 1985 to 2008.
